Aluminium venetian blinds
Our most affordable venetian. Hard-wearing, easy to wipe down, and available in a 25 mm slat for smaller windows or a 50 mm slat for a wider view through.
Kitchen grease comes off with a wipe, which makes them a sensible choice above a stove or in an office.
One thing we will be straight about
Aluminium is not the most suitable option right on the coast, even though it is our cheapest venetian. Salt air is hard on any window covering, and we would rather advise you properly for your house than sell you the cheapest thing and watch it fail. If you are on an exposed sea-facing wall, ask us before deciding on price alone.

Looking after them
Dust along the slats, then wipe with a cloth wrung out in clean water and dry them. Kitchen grease comes off easily, which is one of aluminium's real advantages.
Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, which scratch the powder coating. Support each slat with your other hand as you wipe, so you do not put a kink in it. A silicone spray on the headrail keeps the mechanism running smoothly.
Questions we get about aluminium venetians
25 mm or 50 mm?
The narrower 25 mm slat suits small windows and gives a finer, more understated look. A 50 mm slat gives a wider view through when the blind is tilted open. We bring both to look at.
Can they go in a bathroom?
Yes, with the same caveat as any blind: if you get steam on your mirrors you will have trouble in that room regardless of material. Ventilation matters more than the product.
A slat has bent. Can it be fixed?
Individual slats can usually be replaced, and a venetian that will not lift evenly can be restrung. Our parts have to fit your blind though, so send us a photo first. More on repairs →
